WFIRST Coronagraph Data Challenge on Oct. 20th
A special session dedicated to the kick-off of the new WFIRST Coronagraph Data Challenge is scheduled on October 20th, the Sunday prior the conference. Please sign-up here to attend this fun “hack day” and learn about WFIRST CGI. A limited number of partial financial support grants are available for junior participants.

Abstract Submission

Abstract submission close!
The deadline will be July 15th July 29th. Please register first, since you need your own registration number when you complete the abstruct submission. The number of words in your abstract should be less than 300, and your title length should be smaller than 100 words. You can select oral or poster presentation. Please note then that we may ask you to change your request of an oral presentation to a poster presentation because of the limited number of slots for oral presentation.

Options

In the registration form, you can choose the following options if you wish. We show rough description here, and please see the instruction in the above registration website for more details.

Hotels
Hotels provided by Kinki Nippon Tuorist cost about JPY13000-25000 per day per person. As we described in the hotel page, there are many hotels in Tokyo, and you can book cheaper hotels by yourself. We strongly reccomend you to book as early as possible, since the hotel fees are getting higher due to Rugby World Cup in Japan in autumn.

Optional Tours on Oct. 23rd (Wed)
We present 3 kinds of excursions in the afternoon of Oct. 23rd for applicants (Tour summary). It is noted that they have minimum number of participants.
Plan 1: Visit to Asakusa and Sumida river (JPY5,500/person, min: 30)
Plan 2: Visit to Toyosu and Ueno (JPY5,500/person, min: 30)
Plan 3: Experience on traditional Japanese culture in Asakusa (JPY7,700/person, min: 30)

Lunch Boxes
You can request lunch boxes during the conference if you wish (JPY1,100/box). You can, of course, take lunch by yourself. We provide information on restaurants close to the conference place in this webpage.
